What is OpenMBU?

OpenMBU is a reversed engineered version of Marble Blast Ultra that is based on Torque Shader Engine 0.9 (MS4).

Marble Blast Ultra is a puzzle-platformer that was developed by GarageGames and released on January 25, 2006 for the Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. By the end of 2010, it had sold over 756,000 copies. The game was delisted from the Xbox Live Arcade service in February 2011.

Can I play OpenMBU on a Mac?

There is currently no Mac support. We plan to support Mac in the future.

How do I change my gamertag?

You can set your gamertag by going to Options > Set Gamertag.

Where can I find the prefs.cs file?

It is located in \AppData\Roaming\GarageGames\Marble Blast Ultra.

How do I download and play on custom levels?

You can download fan-made levels from our Discord server.

Can I use custom marble skins?

Yes, but unless other players have the same skin with the same filenames, then you will be the only one who can see your skin in-game, while they’ll just see a regular one.

Are there Leaderboards?

This is still currently in development and should be released in a future update.

Are there replays?

Not at the moment, but it is something we plan to add in the future.
